Framework, Sliding Scales & Pricing

Access to counseling, support and education is deeply shaped by financial resources. In a capitalist society, people with or close to economic privilege often have easier and longer access, while others face significant financial barriers.
I want to contribute to greater accessibility without transferring the costs of inequality onto care workers through underpayment, overwork or self-exploitation.

Formats & Session Lengths

  • 1:1 Psychosocial Counseling: 50 or 90 minutes
  • 1:1 Thematic Process Facilitation: 50 or 90 minutes
  • Relationship Counseling: 90, 120, or max 150 minutes
  • Group Facilitations: according to a group tra
  • Workshops, Trainings & Retreat Facilitation: depending on group needs and assessment/agreement

Sliding Scale

I offer a sliding scale based on self-assessment for individuals, so you can choose a fee that reflects your financial situation.

For workshops, the sliding scale applies to non-state-funded activist groups, grassroots initiatives, community projects, and other self-organised groups with limited financial resources. For organisations and institutions with public or institutional funding, workshop fees are calculated based on the standard rate.

  • 50 min: €80–€120
  • 90 min: €120–€160
  • 120 min: €160–€240
  • 150 min: €200–€300

  • Half-day workshop (6 hours, including 1h preparation & 1h follow-up): €480–€720

  • Full-day workshop (11 hours, including 1h preparation, 1h follow-up & 1h lunch break): €880–€1,320

Please contact me to talk about what would be feasible for both you and me. We can determine the appropriate rate together during the free 30-min introductory session.

1:1 Psychosocial & Relationship Counseling – Current Training Framework

I am currently completing my training as an LSB i.A.u.S. (Lebens- und Sozialberater in Ausbildung unter Supervision). This means that, until approximately June 2027, my psychosocial counseling and relationship counseling sessions take place alongside my training framework and under supervision.
For this reason, these sessions are currently offered on a compensation level rather than according to a fixed fee. Please feel free to contact me, so we can talk about what would be feasible for both you and me.

Workshops, Trainings & Retreats

Workshops, trainings and retreats are tailor-made and developed in collaboration with those reaching out. As preparation, design, coordination, facilitation and follow-up vary depending on the project, pricing is calculated individually rather than by session length.
Please get in touch to discuss your needs and a tailored proposal. If financial accessibility is a concern, this can also be part of our conversation.

My work as a Wir sind auch Wien Collaborator

A part of my work is offered via the Wir sind auch Wien (WsaW) collaboration platform.
Within WsaW, prices and sliding scales are determined by the center/platform. The center offers different formats and works with a model of redistribution: people who pay the full rate help make reduced-cost places possible for people who would otherwise not be able to access the service.
Reduced-cost places are specifically reserved for people directly affected by systemic oppression and structural barriers. This creates a collective model of access in which financial resources are used to reduce inequalities and expand possibilities for support.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an important part of my work. Personal information and what is shared within counseling and facilitation spaces is treated with care and kept confidential. Where supervision is required as part of my training, cases are discussed in a professional and anonymized way, without identifying information. Any exceptions to confidentiality will be discussed with you throughout the first session.

Inspiration & References

This approach is inspired by Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s work on sliding scales as a tool for economic justice, Wir sind auch Wien’s approaches to redistribution, and The Embodiment Institute’s reflections on accessibility, class, privilege and the use of financial resources to support collective access.
I am grateful to the many practitioners, communities and movements developing and sharing models of economic accessibility, solidarity and collective care.
